Connection Overview
To move forward with Astrata integration you will need to obtain your registered company name, a username, and a password for use with the API. This can be provided by you Astrata rep and/or the Astrata support team.
Instructions:
- Obtain your registered company name and a username/password for use with the API.
- Provide these credentials to your assigned MacroPoint Activations consultant or send to MPActivations@descartes.com
- We will test the connection before finalization which will require identifiers. Astrada FleetVisor uses unit IDs. If "AssetType" is left blank, it will track vehicles and trailers. If this is undesirable, you can choose to only track one by entering "vehicle" or "trailer" in the AssetType.
