In order for MacroPoint to establish connection, we need an API token and a group ID
Instructions:
Creating API Tokens:
- Click ‘Settings’ from the top menu
- Click ‘API Tokens’ found under the Advanced sub-menu
- Click ‘+ Add an API Token’
- Name the API Token and click ‘Save’
- Obtain/Provide the Group ID and API Access Token found under the “Documentation / Example API calls” section
- Once the API taken and group ID is located, please email them to your Descartes MacroPoint Activations Consultant.
- Truck identifiers used are 'Vehicle Names' as listed in the portal
